Flavor Notes

The Gesha variety is fabled for its vibrant and colorful characteristics. An ancient variety of coffee, Gesha grew wild in Ethiopia until it was brought to the Americas in the mid-twentieth century to add new variation to monocultured farms. At first, Gesha was seen as a flop – low yields, wild flavors, and finicky.
